Measuring solid levels is hard because of the often dusty environment within silo’s. Normally laser technology is well able to do these kind of measurements, but dust prevents lasers from delivering reliable results. LvLogics circumvented this problem by using targeted air jets to clean the laser system whenever it is dirty, which then allows the device to perform dependable measurements. This way farmers don’t unexpectedly run out of meal supplies, and cement producers don’t have to deal with costly overfills of their silo’s.
